Mary McGuire Obituary

The memory of Mary McGuire (Calamus, Iowa), who passed away on August 20, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ryan and Mary Evelyn Ryan (Green); the father of her children Joseph McGuire; her siblings, Don, Bob, Ralph, David, Charlie Ryan and Janet Burken (Ryan); and her son-in-law Steve Tuttle.

She is survived by: her children, Jean McGuire of Peru, Illinois, Mark McGuire (Marci) of Prosper, Texas, Madonna McGuire Smith (Mike) of Corvallis, Oregon, Lois Kaye (Jonathan) of North Bend, Washington, Matt McGuire (Amy) of DeWitt, Iowa, Dan McGuire (Melissa) of Windsor, Colorado, Jennifer Bousselot (Aaron) of Centennial, Colorado and Joni McGuire; and her sister Joyce Spindler (Ryan). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, four step grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and four step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Lenore's name to St. Joseph Catholic Church in DeWitt.
