It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland Gasper of Calamus, Iowa, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gasper and Francis Gasper (Schumacher); his wife Donna Lingle of Peter's Catholic Church; his siblings, Jeannette Morby (James) and Melvin Gasper; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Lingle (Joan) and Clint Lingle.
He is survived by: his sons, Lee (Debbie) of Calamus and Keith (Tracy) of Calamus; his grandsons, Tyler Gasper (Sarah Noack) and Connor Gasper (Brooklyn); his stepgrandchildren, Owen Engstrom and Taylor Nielson (Kellen); his great grandchild Luke; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Whitley, Luca and Amelia; his brother Leon Gasper (Linda); and his brother-in-law Alan Lingle. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Schultz Funeral Home (611 Fulton St, Grand Mound, IA 52751). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
