She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Mickey and Madeline Mickey (Ohlerich); her daughter-in-law Beth Haack; her sisters, Brenda Mickey and Deborah Berner; and her siblings-in-law, J. C. Martensen and Eunice Haack.

She is survived by: her husband Don; her son Jeff; her grandchildren, Nichole Bomia (Jacob) and Joshua Haack; her son Mark (Wanda); her granddaughter Olivia Mueller (Randy); her son Greg (Amy); her grandchildren, Amber, Jared (Shauna) and Nolan Haack; her daughter Karen Mangelsen (Chris); her grandchildren, Carsen (Kennedy), Bree and Leah Mangelsen; her great grandchildren, Harrison Mueller and Annie Bomia; and her siblings, Kenny Dale Mickey (Sharon), Rita Grandinetti, Jean Martensen and Jim Mickey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Bliedorn or Camp Courageous.
