With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Monroe of Calmar, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Paul Doubek and Phyllis Doubek (Halverson); her husband Scott Monroe; her children, Nicole Ondrashek (Brian), Darin Monroe (Amanda) and Ryan Monroe (Kelsey); her grandchildren, Madisen Ondrashek (Jimmy Fuhrman), Dayten Ondrashek, Annisten Ondrashek, Lauren Ondrashek, Grace Monroe, Jamisen Monroe, Case Orville Monroe, Josephine Monroe, Eleanor Monroe and Luella Monroe; her sisters, Paulette Doubek (Mark) and Sandy Doubek (Tony); her mother-in-law Harriet Monroe; her siblings-in-law, Stan Monroe (Nancy), Sheldon Monroe (Dawn) and Sue Blue (Pete); her sister Julie Doubek; her father-in-law Fielden Monroe (Fritz); and her aunt Bev.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorials to help cover Janet's medical costs that were accrued this past year.
