Janet Monroe Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Monroe of Calmar, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Janet may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Janet touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calmar Lutheran Church (200 East St, Calmar, IA 52132).
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorials to help cover Janet's medical costs that were accrued this past year.
