He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Winter and Henrietta Winter of Eldorado, Iowa.; his in-laws, Glen and Mabel Gullickson; his siblings, Gerald Winter (Joann), Herbert Winter (Jean), Delores Pinney (Duane) and Carol Woodward; his grandchildren, Matthew and Nicole Winter; and his nephews, Adam Gullickson, Mitchell Brincks and Brian Pinney.
He is survived by: his wife Bernie of Art's Roller Rink; his children, Valerie Lechtenberg (Dave) of West Union, Craig Winter of Chandler, Arizona and Vicki Novak (Greg) of Riverview, Florida; his grandchildren, Duane Lechtenberg, Eli Novak, Emily Casey (Dave), Ross Kurash (Cassie) and Ashley Greene (Cody); his great grandchildren, Henry Roger, Ruthie Jean and Betsy Ray Kurash; his brother Ronald Winter (Ethel); and his siblings-in-law, Lyle Gullickson (Cheryl), Don Gullickson (Linda), Bruce Gullickson (Marcia), Jan Helgerson (Ron) and Marilyn Brincks (Tony). He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
