He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Boldt and Nora Boldt; his parents-in-law, Elmer and Opal Tuntland; his sister Arlene; and his siblings-in-law, Dick Fossum and Sherry Boldt.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his brother Wesley Boldt (Joann); his nephew Todd Boldt (Tanny); his nieces, Michelle Hampton (Scott) and Kristen Boldt; his nephew-in-law Gregg Fossum; and his niece-in-law Gail Fossum (Shea). He is also survived by six grand nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to send memorials to the Humane Society, PBS, or Feeding South Dakota.
