We bid farewell to Carol Smith of Camanche, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 2, 2025 at the age of 80. Carol touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Menno Housenga and Anna Housenga (Otto); her husband Leo Smith; and her brother Robert. She is survived by: her children, Timothy Smith of Des Moines, Iowa and Deborah Dodson (Douglas) of Camanche; her grandchildren, Dylan (Lea), Drake and Danika Dodson; and her sister Connie Nielsen (Randy) of Fulton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory - Camanche 16th. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
