She was predeceased by: her parents, Menno Housenga and Anna Housenga (Otto); her husband Leo Smith; and her brother Robert. She is survived by: her children, Timothy Smith of Des Moines, Iowa and Deborah Dodson (Douglas) of Camanche; her grandchildren, Dylan (Lea), Drake and Danika Dodson; and her sister Connie Nielsen (Randy) of Fulton.
