She was predeceased by: her parents, James VanHouten and Florence VanHouten (Turner); her spouse Lynn V. Payne; her son Toby Payne; her granddaughter Nicole McNelis; and her brother Neal VanHouten.
She is survived by: her children, Cara Barefield (Philip) of Camanche, Randy Payne of Albuquerque and Reggie Payne of Albuquerque; her grandchildren, Ashley and Morgan; and her sisters, Karen Copenhaver of Boonville and Kathy Rufner (Wendall) of Clarence, Missouri. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
