He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Payne and Hazel Payne (Harrison); his son Toby Payne; and his granddaughter Nicole McNelis. He is survived by: his wife Joy Payne of Camanche; his children, Randy Payne of Albuquerque and Reggie Payne of Albuquerque; his grandchildren, Cara Barefield (Philip) of Camanche, Ashley and Morgan; Bob Payne (Sharon) of Albuquerque. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
