As we bid Nancy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Nancy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Hendren and Phyllis Hendren (Bray); her husband Clarence; her son-in-law Merlin Weltzin; and her brother-in-law Leonard Porter.
She is survived by: her children, Jeannie Weltzin of Clinton, Jennifer Edens (Robert) of Camanche and Stephen Sanders (Jenny) of Clive; and her siblings, Michael Hendren (Teresa) of Columbia, Sandy Payne of Ottumwa, Kathy Porter of Camanche, Beverly Creamer (Steve) of Ottumwa and Connie Hopwood (David) of Brodhead. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Masonic Lodge (220 9th Ave, Camanche, IA 52730).
