Shirley L. Walters Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on July 6, 2025, at the age of 88, Shirley L. Walters of Camanche, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Shirley's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sr. West and Hazel West (Hanger); and her brother William West Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Lonnie "Pete" Walters; her children, Michael Walters (Lorie) of Franklin, Chris Walters of Des Moines and Laura Leonard (Andrew) of Mingo, Iowa; Jason West of Alpine, Texas.. She is also survived by four granddaughters, two grandsons, nine great grandchildren.
