Shirley L. Walters Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 6, 2025, at the age of 88, Shirley L. Walters of Camanche, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Shirley's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Shirley's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sr. West and Hazel West (Hanger); and her brother William West Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Lonnie "Pete" Walters; her children, Michael Walters (Lorie) of Franklin, Chris Walters of Des Moines and Laura Leonard (Andrew) of Mingo, Iowa; and also Jason West of Alpine, Texas.. She is also survived by four granddaughters, two grandsons, nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Camanche Community Center (323 9th Ave, Camanche, IA 52730).
