She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Thompson and Virginia Thompson; her husband Roger W. Thorson; her siblings, Myron Thompson and Elaine Helgleland; her brothers-in-law, Duane Cook, Larry Clatt, Gilbert Helgeland and Terry Hunt; and her great grandchild Wilson Schott.

She is survived by: her children, Lorene Geiger (Mike) of New Hartford, John (Debbie) of Prole, Jeffrey Thorson (Linda) of Ames and Scott Thorson (Rita) of Kelley; her grandchildren, Linda Schott (Jeffrey), Paul Geiger (Victoria), Kenny Thorson (Anna Keller), Melissa Mann (Roger), Curtis Mabbitt, Brad Mabbitt, Wyatt Thorson, Jamie Larson and Nick Larson (Kara); her great grandchildren, Rueben, Magnus, Courtney, Alexis, Jordy, Brison, Hunter, Garrett, Eleanor and Genevieve; her sisters, Carole Hunt, Sandra Clatt, Donna Cook and Cathy Fjelland (Bill); and her sister-in-law Debra Thompson.
