She was predeceased by: her parents, John Winfred and Alma Lewina Severeid (Bauge); her husband Jerald "Jerry" Francis Weatherman; and her brother Reece Severeid. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Weatherman (Christine) of Robbinsdale, MN, Connie Harper of Cambridge and Steven Weatherman of Wilmington, DE; her grandchildren, Joshua Harper (Deanna), Sara Mannes (Allen) and Alexander Weatherman (Brenda Humphries); her great grandchild Ezra Mannes; and her sister Mary Severeid of Lakewood, CO..
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Fjeldberg Lutheran Church (209 N 2nd Ave, Huxley, IA 50124).
Memorials may be made to the Cambridge Fire Department in memory of Joan.
