With sadness, we share the passing of Phyllis Echer of Cambridge, Iowa. Phyllis, born on November 5, 1941, passed away on October 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joe "John" Echer; her parents, Harvey Rench and Juanita Rench; and her siblings, Sharon Nash and Harvey Jr. "Bugs" Rench.
She is survived by: her sons, Rory (Makai) of Huxley, Mick (Robin) of Des Moines and Brett (Tena) of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Anthony Echer, John Echer, Brody Echer Alle Payne and Lacey Echer; her great grandchildren, Haley, Ella, Leo, Grason, Lincoln and Mason; and her siblings, Esther Stowe, Darrell Rench, Ron Rench and Marilyn Olson.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cambridge Cemetery (57995 310th St, Cambridge, IA 50046). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Dorcas Hall (210 Water St, Cambridge, IA 50046).
