David Jones Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of David Jones of Carlisle, Iowa is shared. David, born on June 17, 1952, passed away on October 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd "Casey" Jones and Wilma Jones; his sister Linda Jones; his daughter-in-law Jen Jones; his grandson Mark Daniel II; and his brothers-in-law, Greg Vandall and Ray Gray.

He is survived by: his wife Margie Jones; his children, Mark, Mike Jones, Jason Vanbuskirk (Andrea) and Trudi Vanbuskirk (Harold); and his siblings, Judy Vandall, Cindy Gray, Jerry Jones (Cathy) and Robin Merrifield (Drew). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren 16 great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Knoxville Raceway Hall of Fame, Second Floor.
