She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Shuppy and Frances Shuppy (Kurtz); and her daughter Kimberly Ann Friday. She is survived by: her husband John; her son Joe Franey (Sara); her son-in-law Robert Friday; her grandchildren, Jack Franey (Cayleigh Whitlow), Braidy Friday, Hogan Franey, Carly Franey and Trey Friday; her brothers, Gary Shuppy, Stephen Shuppy (Tina) and Dennis Shuppy; and her siblings-in-law, Sue Franey and Herb Ellis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church (2566 Scotch Ridge Rd, Carlisle, IA 50047). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
