Michael Flaig Obituary
We announce the death of Michael Flaig (Carlisle, Iowa), who passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 66. Michael will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Dennis Leo Flaig; and his grandparents, Herbert, Velma Gerling, Fred and Mary Flaig.
He is survived by: his mother Mabel Flaig; and his siblings, Laura Armantrout (Dave), Tamara Conrad (Kenneth), Theresa Flaig, Scott Flaig, Daniel Flaig (Leah) and Anthony Flaig (Mitzy).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Peterson Funeral Home (415 School St, Carlisle, IA 50047).
In honor of Michael's memory, donations may be made to the American Lung Cancer Screening Initiative, an organization dedicated to saving lives through early detection and prevention.
