It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Frank Anthofer of Carroll, Iowa, who passed away on March 18, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Anthofer and Alice Anthofer; his parents-in-law, Greg and Leona Schlerman; his siblings, Bernie Reiling (Ray), Clara Anthofer, Joe Anthofer (Lois), Ed Anthofer (Bonnie), Ron Anthofer and Leonard Anthofer; and his brother-in-law Jack Scott.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Taylor Escobar, Riley Anthofer and Laney Anthofer; his wife LaVonne Schlerman; his children, Mark Anthofer of Kansas City, MO, Karen Sommer (Jim) of De Soto, KS and Brian "Butch" Anthofer of Kansas City, MO; his grandson Colby; his stepgrandchildren, Nakita Dixon (Dylan) and Derek Sommer; his sisters, Teresa Linsheid (Allan) of Mesa, AZ, Irene Scott of Coon Rapids, Betty Hatton (George) of Elk River, MN and Joyce Schmidt (Ken) of Juneau, WI; his sister-in-law Rita Anthofer of Coon Rapids; and also, Koa and Enika. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
