She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Schmit and Gertrude Schmit (Billerbeck); her husband Lawrence McHugh; her son Philip McHugh; her granddaughter Lexi Macke; her siblings, Vincent Schmit (Shirley), Cork Schmit and Lucille Knievel; her brother-in-law John Aschoff; Lucy Perry (Kenneth), Mildred Paseka (Jim), Cleta McHugh, Clifford McHugh, Mabel Harris (Voyne), Alicia Mahoney (Marion) and Theresa Topf (Clarence).
She is survived by: her great grandchild Gift Bearers; her grandchildren, Mark McHugh, Natalie McHugh, Sheri Kutschara, Randy Kenyon, Janet Priemer, Kirk Kenyon, Ryan Kenyon, Lauren Brown, Seth Macke, Hannah Miravalles, Sydney Macke, Alex McHugh, Grant McHugh, Jack McHugh and Max McHugh; her children, Bonnie McHugh DC of San Antonio, TX, Colleen Kenyon (Ron) of Whittemore, Robert McHugh (Carol) of Kimballton, Kathleen Macke (David) of Carroll, Keith McHugh (Gail) of Omaha, NE and Kristin McHugh of Los Angeles, CA; and her daughter-in-law Margaret McDermott of Harrisburg, SD. She is also survived by 15 grandkids; 12 great-grandkids; her siblings.
