She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Schleisman and Loraine Schleisman; her husband Merle Danner of Mary's Church; and her brothers, Dale and Kenny Schleisman.
She is survived by: her children, Charles "Chuck" Danner (Karla), Jeff Danner, Peg Loew (John), Lisa Poole (Roger), Susan Reynoldson (Mike) and Nancy Kasperbauer (Todd); and her siblings, Kathy Anderson (Dave), Jean Smith (Bill), Cindy Filmer (Dean), Jim Schleisman, Larry Schleisman (Vi) and Jerry Schleisman (Joyce). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Lawrence Church (1607 N West St, Carroll, IA 51401). A Mass was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Church – St. John (1607 N West St, Carroll, IA 51401).
She and Merle were strong supporters of Kuemper, including numerous volunteer activities, chairing the Kuemper Ball, and generously contributing to the Kuemper Foundation's Perpetual Memorial.
