He is survived by: his children, Daniel Holmes (Denise) of Mt. Carmel, Jeffrey Holmes (Della) of Odebolt and Danette Holmes of Carroll; his grandchildren, Jacob Holmes and Grace Holmes of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and his siblings, Ruby (Emery Christoffersen) of Kimballton and Tom Holmes (Sally) of Union Grove, Wisconsin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
