He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Haberl and Genevieve Haberl (Daniel) of Manning, Iowa.; his wife Mary Ann Haberl; his children, Vicki Lynn Rattenborg, Stan Haberl and Randy Haberl; his daughter-in-law Kris Haberl; his grandson Matthew Haberl; his parents-in-law, John and Mayme Bauer; and his siblings, Joleen Bauer, Alvin Haberl and Marlind Haberl.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Haberl (Lorraine) of Rockwell City, Douglas Haberl (Joyce) of Carroll, Thomas Haberl of Breda and Scott Haberl of Moville; his children-in-law, Lynn Berger (Tom) of Auburn, Dani Mueggenberg (Glen) of Breda and Rodney Rattenborg (Cindy) of Scranton; his siblings, Darlene Willenborg (Leo), Norma Jean Anthofer, Rita Ann Bruch (Arthur), Bernie Haberl, Erwin Haberl (Mary Jane), LeRoy Haberl (Carol) and Ed Haberl (Annette); and his sister-in-law Marilyn Bauer. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren.
