We bid farewell to Glenn Behrens (Carroll, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 16, 2025 at the age of 71. Glenn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Behrens and Dorothy Behrens (Kraus); his son Brett; his parents-in-law, Norbert and Cresentia "Sancy" Krajewski; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Fries and Barbara Krajewski.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his grandchildren, Brenna (Hugh), Lauren, John and Ryan O'Donnell; his children, Brian (Katie), Carson, Nolan Behrens, Bruce (Keeley), Calvin and Cameron Behrens; and his siblings, Randy Behrens (Jean), Ken Behrens (Vic), Jayne Pietig (Kevin), Dave Behrens (Patsy), Connie Holmes (Dan) and Keith Behrens (Marianne).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM. A rosary was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Home (226 W 8th St, Carroll, IA 51401). A Mass was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (202 S 5th Ave, Templeton, IA 51463).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made toward establishing a future scholarship for youth pursuing careers in livestock management.
