She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Loew and Florence Loew (Hermsen); her husband LaVern Hoffman of Templeton; her siblings, Ethelmae (Loew), Harold Davis, Dennis, Janice Loew, Marian (Loew), Roland Daniel, Merlin Loew, Mary Jane Loew (Kitt), Robert Snyder (Agatha), Mariella (Loew), James Derner, Joseph Loew, Clarence Loew, Steve Loew Jr., Bernard, Ruth Hoffman, Andrew Brinks (Marge) and Dean Hupp (Marge); her son Martin Hoffman; her son-in-law Michael Morse; and her grandson Marten Joshua Hoffman.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanne Wilson (Hoffman), Randall (Valerie Hoffman), Mark (Betty Hoffman), Marilyn Hoffman (Martin), Mary (Hoffman Morse), John Johnson, Kenneth (Linda Hoffman) and Charles (Linda Hoffman); and her in-laws, Lawrence Loew, Agatha Snyder (Loew), Marie Loew (Merlin), Debra Loew (Steve Jr) and Marge Hupp (Hoffman Brinks). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; her siblings.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 9:30 AM. A rosary was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Home (226 W 8th St, Carroll, IA 51401). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Paul II Parish – Holy Spirit (421 Bluff St E, Carroll, IA 51401).
