He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Chapman and Hattie Chapman (Cook); his siblings, Leone (Paul Hudek), Herschel (Evelyn), Roger (Dorothy) and Iola; and his parents-in-law, Wilbert and Corrine Michaelsen.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sons, Michael of Glidden, William of Seattle, WA and Steve (Gina) of Treynor, IA; and his grandson Nolan (Rylee) of Urbandale.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home - Glidden (307 N Idaho St, Glidden, IA 51443).
