Kenneth Nees Obituary

We bid farewell to Kenneth Nees (Carroll, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 14, 2025 at the age of 92. Kenneth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Nees and Mary Nees (Underberg); his wife Jeanette Baumhover; his son Tom; his son-in-law John Koster; his great grandchild Becker Blake; his siblings, Florence Nees, Marvin Nees, Francis Nees, Rita Dentlinger, Rosella Berger, Donald Nees, Elmer Nees and Mary Ann Brandt; and his in-laws, Winifred Jorgensen and Jim Baumhover.

He is survived by: his children, Dan Nees (Kathy) of Ankeny, Steve Nees (Iris) of Halbur, Joan Wehr (Ed) of Carroll, Chris Blake (Randy) of Wiota, Theresa Potthoff (Jerry Green) of Pauls Valley, OK, Susan Nees (Scott Ainsworth) of Watkinsville, GA, Jill Kolb (John) of Ames, Joe Nees (Mindy) of Breda, Mike Nees (Kim) of Carroll and Carmel; his brother Duane Nees (Loretta); his in-laws, Virgil Baumhover (Mary), Marie Baumhover, Betty Klocke (Jerry), Lenore Fiedler (Richard), Anita Fiedler, Lorin Baumhover (Lorraine) and Roger Baumhover; Kim Nees, Paul Nees, Randy Blake, Jason Nees, Kara Nees-Garner, John Nees, Chelsea Koster, Bennett Blake, Bryan Potthoff, Samuel Ainsworth, Ian Kolb, Taylor Nees, Garrett Nees and Rosanne Nees of Mt. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Mt. Carmel Faith Foundation in remembrance of Kenny.
