With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Larry Clark of Carroll, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Larry left this world on July 7, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Clark and Margaret Clark (Burkhardt); his brothers, Robert and John Patrick; his parents-in-law, Ronald and Evelyn Anderson; his siblings-in-law, Jim Black and Evelyn Anderson; and his niece Cathy Johnston (Clark).
He is survived by: his wife Sharon J. Anderson of Patrick's Church; his children, Jodi Ludwig (Randy) of Carroll, Michael Clark (Mindy) of Solon, Theresa Boeckman (Bob) of Breda and Amy Pudenz (Glenn) of Lees Summit, MO.; his grandchildren, Kyler, Tanner, Carter Ludwig, Kirby Richman (Clark), Cody, Olivia, Jack Clark, Miranda Kalish (Boeckman), Austin, Brandon, Tucker Boeckman, Hunter, Cameron and Kennedy Pudenz; and his siblings-in-law, Carleen Clark, Janice Black, Sally Bacher, Ron Anderson and Larry Bacher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A wake was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Home (226 W 8th St, Carroll, IA 51401). A Mass was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Church – St. John (1607 N West St, Carroll, IA 51401).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left at the funeral home or the church for a later designation.
