She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ronald Jacobsen and Lavon Jacobsen (Fredericksen); her husband Richard "Rick" Vonnahme of Carroll; her stepchildren, Andy Vonnahme (Tonya) of Arthur, IA and Jenny Vonnahme of Carroll; her stepson-in-law Garrett Bissen of Glidden, IA; her brothers, Terry Jacobsen (Karlene) of Harlan, IA, Matt Jacobsen (Mindy) of Atlantic, IA and Ron Jacobsen of Atlantic; her siblings-in-law, Robert Vonnahme (Rita) of Carroll, Marcy Patton of Carroll, Marilyn Miller of Fonda, IA, Ronald Vonnahme (Mary) of Carroll, Mary Hike (Kevin) of Lake City, IA, Marge Mumm (Todd) of Westside, IA and Darlene Vonnahme of Wall Lake; her stepdaughter Kari Bissen; her parents-in-law, Martin and Juanita Vonnahme; her brothers-in-law, Floyd Patton and Randy Vonnahme; her nephew Bradley Vonnahme; her great-nephew Bently Jacobsen; and her great-niece Kenzlee Jacobsen. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
