It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mike Willenborg (Carroll, Iowa), who passed away on February 24, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Willenborg and Louise Willenborg (Schwaller); his parents-in-law, V. V. and Doris Olesen; his brothers, Francis Muhr and William Muhr; and his sister-in-law Kathleen Buchfinck.

He is survived by: his former wife Rachelle Olesen; his wife Shelley Willenborg of Carroll; his children, Chad Willenborg (Kelly) of Papillion, NE and Jami Lehman (Matt) of Johnston, IA; his grandchildren, Tyler, Brynn and Mikey; his stepgranddaughters, Marley and Sara; his siblings, Patrick Willenborg (Jane Hall) of Coon Rapids, IA, Christine Mickel (David) of Harbeson, DE and David Muhr of Coon Rapids; and his sister-in-law Berniece Muhr of Audubon, IA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
