He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. McFarland and Betty McFarland (Chizek); and his brother Robert McFarland Jr. (Diane J.). He is survived by: his children, Rikki Ullrich of Sheldon, Randi Nichols (Chad) of Carroll, Robi McFarland of Carroll and Jacob McFarland of Orange City; his grandchildren, Blake Ullrich, Jaydrien Albers (Greg), Dylan McFarland and Hazel Grace Nichols; his great grandchild Rylie Albers; and his sister Susan McFarland Hayes (Todd) of Council Bluffs.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dahn & Woodhouse Funeral Home - Carroll (705 N Carroll St, Carroll, IA 51401).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for a later designation.
