We are sad to announce that, on April 29, 2026, at the age of 62, Stephen Paul Nurse in Carroll, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maury and Marcella; his sister Maureen Weiss; his grandparents, Maurice and Clara; his caregiver Anna Shoemaker; his father-in-law Dale Mueggenberg; and his siblings-in-law, Becky Mueggenberg and Billy Mueggenberg.
He is survived by: his wife Lori; his children, Rachel Janning (Nicholas) and Andrew; his brother Jim; his caregivers, Dan (Ann), Sue Morrissey, Ken (Lori) and Shelley; his mother-in-law Arlene Mueggenberg; and his in-laws, Bonnie Heuton (Paul), Dan Mueggenberg, Larry Mueggenberg (Lisa) and Marcy Brightwell (Brad). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
