With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Yvonne Klaver of Carroll, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Yvonne left this world on January 13, 2026 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Potthoff and Marie Potthoff (Riesberg); her husband Roger Klaver; her stepfather Al Lickteig; her siblings, James Potthoff and Deloras Volkmeier; her daughter-in-law Susan Klaver; her brother-in-law Lester Klaver; and her great grandchild Harbor Huntley.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Klaver (Beth) of Kamrar, IA, Tim Klaver (Angie) of Eldora, IA, Marcy Puck (Nate) of Carroll, IA and Curtis Klaver (Malinda) of Ames, IA; and her siblings, Carlene O'Connor of Long Lake, MN, Donnie Potthoff (Jane) of Algona, IA and Dennis Potthoff (Deb) of Blue Springs, MO.. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren; 10 Great-Grandchildren.
After retirement, she spent many hours volunteering for organizations such as New Hope Bargain Shop, St. Anthony's Hospital Auxiliary, RSVP, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, and many others.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left at the church for St. Anthony Foundation.
