Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sharon Husz of Carson, Iowa, born in Prague, Nebraska, who passed away at the age of 79, on April 9, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Henry and Irene Sharon Blatny (Kavan); her daughter Debra Husz; and her brother Ernest Blatny Jr.. She is survived by : her husband Curtiss William Husz of Carson, IA; her son James Husz of Maryville, MO; her grandson Jon Reed (Ellie); her great grandchildren, Ella and Jacob; her grandchildren, Jordan Husz and Taylor Husz; and her siblings, Eileen Vendetti of DeFiniak Springs, FL, Diane Adams of Red Oak, Bob Blatny (Kyla Alva) of Council Bluffs and David Blatny (Debra) of Carson.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Loess Hills Funeral Home (420 S Oak St, Carson, IA 51525). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (12 Park St, Treynor, IA 51576).

In lieu of flowers the family will direct memorials in Sharon's memory.
