She was predeceased by: her mother Theresa "Peggy" Settles (Votava); and her sister Cheryl Decker. She is survived by: her father Delbert Settles; her boyfriend Roy Colburn; and her siblings, Patricia Settles, David Settles (Marcia), Donald Settles (Edna) and James Settles (Dori). She is also survived by niece, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501). A vigil service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Our Lady of Carter Lake Church (3501 N 9th St, Carter Lake, IA 51510).
