He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Ellett and Anna Ellett (Nielsen); and his brothers, Rick Ellett and Larry Ellett. He is survived by: his children, Amber Penman (Scott) of Boston, Danielle Ellett of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jesse Ellett of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeview Bible Church (1651 Ave Q, Carter Lake, IA 51510).
