We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2025, at the age of 80, David Hawkins of Cascade, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hawkins and Cleora Hawkins; his brother Charles; and his foster sister Angie Sauser. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Mike (Kim), Justin (Meghean), Eric (Tracy) and Angie; his grandchildren, Sam, Logan, Cooper, Carter, Collin, Lily and Keaton; his siblings, Rick (Marilyn) and Robin (Roy); his in-laws, Joanne Hawkins, Don, Janet, Leroy, Shirley, Kenny, Donna, Paul, Kathy and Mark Biermann; and his parents-in-law, Raymond and Dorthy Biermann.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Reiff Funeral Home (205 Hayes St SW, Cascade, IA 52033). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cascade Presbyterian Church (216 Polk St SE, Cascade, IA 52033).
