With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay McNally of Cascade, Iowa, who passed away on October 13, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin L. Recker and Catherine A. Recker (Gudenkauf); her husband David McNally; her brother Marvin Recker; her parents-in-law, Hebert J. and Helen McNally (Kurt); and her siblings-in-law, Judy (Bob), Salathe (Harry Redwine), Mary Jane Sauser, Joe Gehl, Tom Baumann, Pat White and Steve McNally.
She is survived by: her children, Mike McNally (Kim) of Monticello, Jan Manternach (Kent) of Osceola and Todd McNally (Jill) of Madison, WI; her grandchildren, Travis (Alyssa), Marissa McNally, Zach (Lynsey), Josh (Stacey), Jake (Mackenzie), Nathan Manternach and Danny Driscoll; her siblings, Carol White of Hiawatha, IA, Diann Baumann of Milwaukee, WI, Norb Recker (Monica) of Cascade, IA, Ed Recker (Darice) of Cascade, IA, Pat Recker (Sherri) of Nokomis, FL and Terry Recker of Evansdale, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Margie Gehl of Cascade, Rita Recker of Cascade, Tammy McNally of South Bend, IN and Pete Sauser of Cascade. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Reiff Funeral Home (205 Hayes St SW, Cascade, IA 52033). Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Martin's Catholic Church (408 3rd Ave NW, Cascade, IA 52033).
