He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Simon and Judith Simon (Burgmeyer); his wife Tina Simon; and his mother-in-law Elizabeth Sauser. He is survived by: his children, Bryce Simon (Regann), Brock Simon and Jordan; his brothers, Dave Simon (Dana) of Cascade, IA and Shane Simon (Patti) of Cascade, IA; his father-in-law Patrick "Stump" Sauser of Cascade, IA; his siblings-in-law, Dawn Otting (Nate) of Cascade, IA and Todd Sauser of Davenport, IA; his nephews, Dilan, Carter, Tanner, Travis, Chase Simon, Evan, Blake Simon, Logan, Mason and Brody Otting; and his great-niece Shelly Nosbish.
