He is survived by : his wife Rita Mae Mitchell of Joseph's Catholic Church; his children, Pamela Ockenfels (David) of Wellman, Brian Manternach (LuAnn) of Cascade, Jill Friedow of Madison, WI, Dale Manternach (Sharon) of Cascade and Ross Manternach (Jolene) of Greeley, CO; his grandchildren, Aaron Ockenfels (Mary), Alexander Ockenfels (Magdalen) and Allison Flathers (Scott); his children, Jay Manternach (Maddisen), Craig Manternach (Danielle), Tara Westhoff (Hunter), Todd Manternach, Ben Manternach (Lauren Shady), Eliot, Quinn, Owen Friedow, Adam Manternach (Michelle), Jacque Domeyer (Zach), Sarah Gericke (Cody), Michael Manternach, Ella, Emery, Easton and Ensley Manternach; his great grandchildren, Joseph Ockenfels, Katherine, David Ockenfels, Robert, Marybeth, Albert, Louis Flathers, Payton, Avery, Reagan, Grady Manternach, Cayden, Logan Manternach, Nolan Westhoff, Molly, Claire Manternach, Rylee, Eli Domeyer, Brenna, Blaire, Beau and Brady Gericke; his siblings, Joe Manternach (JoAnn) of Cascade, Loras Manternach (Donna) of Masonville, Joan Hoffmann of Cascade, Muriel Schlemme of Cascade, Lois Gravel (Alan) of Cascade, Lester Manternach (Mary Ellen) of Cascade and Pat Manders of Dubuque; and his sisters-in-law, Theresa Deppe (Edward) of Dubuque and Rosemary Wertzberger of Des Moines. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
