Rose M. Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2025, at the age of 93, Rose M. Smith of Cascade, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emeret Koob and Ida M. Koob (Takes); her husband Alfred Smith of Mary's Catholic Church; and her siblings, Irene Rogers Sr. (Merlin), Florence Coyle (Wilmer), Katie Gavin (Tom), Joe Koob (Cecelia) and Helen Weidermann (Dale).
She is survived by: her children, David G. Smith (Sharon Maroney) of Blue Grass, IA, Edward J. Smith (Janet) of Apple Valley, MN, Daniel R. Smith (Barb) of Davenport, IA, Diane Smith-Brown (Roy) of Davenport, IA and Amy R. Butterfield (Torrey) of Pewaukee, WI; and her sister-in-law Carlyn Hunt. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a Rose M. Smith memorial fund Has been established.
