Karla Caltrider Obituary
In loving memory of Karla Caltrider of Casey, Iowa, who departed this world on December 5, 2025 at the age of 87. Karla leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Michael William and Lucille Marie Wesack (Hammond); her husband Keith Caltrider; her parents-in-law, Charles and Irene Caltrider; her grandson James Howard; her great grandchild Ayreiz Howard; her sister Patricia Unrein; and her siblings-in-law, Ray Caltrider (Eva) and Betty Slayton (Don).
She is survived by: her friend Adair; her children, Jennifer Allen (Mick) of Atlantic and Kevin Caltrider (Michelle) of Carroll; her grandchildren, Alissa Puffett (James), Benjamin Caltrider (Kelsey), Trevor Caltrider (Ry) and Paige Badding (William); and her great grandchildren, Xayne Howard, Hadley and Kennedy Caltrider.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the St John's Lutheran Church (104 E 1st St, Casey, IA 50048). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation to the Casey Library Betterment, Casey Service Club Grant Committee, Casey Historical Society and Country Grove at Heritage House.
