He was predeceased by: his parent Jans; his wife Bessie Tapper; and his siblings, Lyle Tapper, James Tapper and Evelyn McClenathan.
He is survived by: his children, Paula Nicoll (Greg) and Dr. Ronald Tapper (Valli); his grandchildren, Jesse Adams (Ali), Philip Nicoll (Stephanie), Bethany Barnes (Caleb), Jenevieve Tapper and Jillian Gaeta (Mathew); and his great grandchildren, Skyler, Logan Nicoll, Strake, Sunnery Adams, Annie, Lilah Barnes, Luca and Layla Gaeta. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
