With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alice Elizabeth Walther-Ellis of Cedar Falls, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Alice Elizabeth left this world on July 14, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Bales and Florence Bales (Carlson); and her siblings-in-law, Thelma, Janet Bales and Dick LaPoint.
She is survived by: her children, Dean A. Walther and Diane M. Walther (Jay Gaard); her grandchildren, Christopher Wersinger (Bailey) and Jaqueline Thede (Ryan); her great grandchild Jerry; and her siblings, Duane Bales, Oscar Bales, Christena LaPoint and David Bales (Diane).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home & Cremation Service (1825 W 12th St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 3669 Logan Ave, Waterloo, IA 50703.
