She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Gabrielson and Inez Gabrielson (Bobst); and her sister Maxine Lind (Ralph). She is survived by: her husband Gaylon Halverson of Cedar Falls; her children, Mike Halverson (Jana) of Lincoln, NE, Kristi Halverson of Hopkins, MN and Jon Halverson of Cedar Falls; and her granddaughter Sarah Halverson of Denver, CO. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home & Cremation Service (1825 W 12th St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the Fairview Cemetery (1350 W 12th St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
