Carolyn Peterson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Peterson (Cedar Falls, Iowa), who passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carolyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Cochran and Margaret Cochran. She is survived by: her husband Tom Peterson; her daughter Alana Berger (Scott); her grandchildren, Reis and Jaide; and her brothers, Michael Cochran (Wendy) of Elgin, AZ, Rick Cochran (Kathy) and Kerry Cochran of Des Moines.
A reception will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Richardson Funeral Service (615 Main St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cedar Valley Hospice in honor of Carolyn's memory.
