She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Byers and Charlene Byers; and her grandparents, Vivian, Howard Patterson, Ira and Leoma Byers.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Lorenz of Waterloo, Iowa, Michele Kofoot (Matthew) of Algona, Iowa and Jennifer Hamilton (Cory) of Mebane; her sister Yvonna "Vonnie" Hoskins; her grandchildren, Juliann, Landen, Kaleb Kofoot, Paeton and Heggen Hamilton; and her nieces and nephews, Wendy Frost (Mike), Dessa Randall (Jamie), Shellia Price (Lynn), Kaylyn Hoskins, Shauna Williams (Adam), Josh Hoskins and Jeremiah Hoskins.
