He is survived by: his sons, Larry Israel (Carol) and Rick Israel (Judy); his grandchildren, Todd Israel (Bryan Bieser), Lindsey Benning (Tyler), Justin Israel (Mary), Rebecca Israel and Laura Lessman (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Ellie, Mason, Jack, Lyla, Calvin, Ryland, Grayson, Brynleigh, Caden, Vivian, Isabelle and Edison; his brothers, Herb Israel, Don Israel, Ken Israel (Sue), Marv Israel (Mona) and Dean Israel (Jane); his siblings-in-law, Bud Diercks (Sharon) and Janice; and his daughters-in-law, Twyla Israel, Peggy Israel and Jean Moore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories (965 Home Plaza, Waterloo, IA 50701). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
