We are sad to announce that on August 29, 2025, at the age of 76, Daniel Robert Hughes of Cedar Falls, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Hughes, Jr. and Joan Hughes (Caley); and his sister Debra Frost. He is survived by: his wife LeAnn King; his sons, Brandon Hughes (Kala) of Cedar Falls and Ryan Hughes (Shana) of Janesville; his grandchildren, Dani and Taylor Hughes; his stepgrandchildren, Taylor and Allison Johnson; his siblings, Michael Hughes (Yvonne) and Kim Kelly (Ron); and his pet Phoebe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
