He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor and Shirley (Fink); and his brothers, Victor and Steven. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Carlson (Pape); his children, Scott Gilroy (Heather) of Cedar Falls, Tim Gilroy (Mindy) of Cedar Falls, Noelle Carlson of Cedar Falls, Cameron Carlson (Viet Le) of Portland, OR and Kerri Hall (Josh) of Ames; his grandchildren, Dayna, Collin Schuur, Kenzie, Sophie and Stella Gilroy; and his great grandchild Stevie Snowden.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Richardson Funeral Service (615 Main St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the family to be designated at a later date.
