It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Paul McFarlane of Cedar Falls, Iowa, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald McFarlane and Doris McFarlane (Orum); and his in-laws, Milo and Marian Christiason. He is survived by: his wife Michele Christiason; his children, Jeffrey McFarlane (Jackie) of Sugar Land, TX and Lisa Rolinger (Mark) of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Lauren (Jason), Finberg, Daniel McFarlane, Abby Montez (Anthony), Allison Rolinger (Sam Nechkash) and Clare Rolinger; his great grandchildren, Kathleen and Isabelle Finberg; his brothers, Gary (Sharon) of Slidell, TX, Bob (Rita) of Waterloo, Darrel (Denise) of Springdale, AR and Monty (Diane) of Cedar Falls; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Christiason (Vicky) and Marlys Christiason. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials contributions may be directed to the church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
